“What a wonderful late lunch! Our server Venetia was absolutely perfect explaining the menu to us as it was our first time. We got to try the taste of New Orleans which was incredible. What a satisfying sampler fit for two! We also tried the catfish bites because it was happy hour all day today (Tuesday!) and it was so fresh and full of flavor. The atmosphere is great, love the decor and the r&b is so relaxing and inviting for a mid afternoon date! Next time I have to try the drinks! Will definitely be back soon!”

I’ve finally found a dope Creole restaurant in the Valley in Sherman Oaks on Ventura Blvd. The Catfish, Chicken Tenders, Cajun Fries, Gumbo, Jambalaya, and Red Beans and Rice are all very delicious. The food is seasoned just right, not overly salty like some places that serve similar foods. The restaurant was clean, food was made fresh to order, and the servers were very nice and hospitable. I will definitely be going back real soon.”

The restaurant offers many of the Cajun/Creole standards we know and love, and everything we tasted was excellent. Jambalaya is one of my favorites and MGT's is quite good. I prefer drier versions of the dish, like MGT's, and this one is spicy and delicious. We have far too few Cajun restaurants nearby, so MGT is worth the trip.”
